How Powerful is SRC-3000FS How Does It Build a Safe AMR

Ⅱ. The world's first safe AMR controller



SRC-3000FS is a safety controller independently developed by SEER, which integrates navigation and functional safety. It can provide mobile robots with basic functions such as map construction, positioning, and navigation, and advanced functions such as multi-machine scheduling, automatic charging, and 3D obstacle avoidance. The product complies with a number of international standard certifications and does not require a safety PLC. AMR has higher internal integration and more compact space, making the overall cost of building AMR lower and the process easier!

Ⅲ. Five safety functions create a safe AMR

1. Safe emergency stop function

It is the most basic of all safety functions. The safe emergency stop functions are divided into two parts, the emergency stop input and emergency stop output. The dual-loop emergency stop input/output function with diagnostic function requires an external double-pole emergency stop button, and the drive needs to support the STO function.

2. Safe speed monitoring function

One or two safety encoders are used to monitor the moving speed of two-wheel differential AMR and single steering wheel AMR, including driving speed and rotation speed. When the speed exceeds the threshold, the drive and motor are controlled to have an emergency stop.

3. Safe steering detection function

For the single steering wheel AMR, the steering of the AMR is related to the direction of the rudder angle. The rudder angle direction is detected by the safety proximity switch to determine the left and right steering of the AMR.

4. Safe stop function before obstacles

SRC-3000FS detects the moving speed and steering information of the AMR through the safety encoder and the safety proximity switch. And then it controls the safety laser to switch the safety protection zone through the safety DO. When an obstacle is detected in the safety zone, it controls the drive and the motor to have an emergency stop.

5. Safe limit function

The safety proximity switch is used to detect whether the linear moving mechanism has moved into the right position or collided, and the drive and motor will be controlled to stop running when in place.
