SEER in NEPCON CHINA 2021 — Find the Opportunities of Digital Transformation in China

Today, SEER was invited to participate in the NEPCON China 2021 concurrent forum, the 5th China Digital Manufacturing Summit Forum, hosted by Reed Exhibitions and ilinki. SEER together with professors of Jiaotong University and the representatives of Weidmüller, German EC and Huarui Technology discussed the digital transformation of smart manufacturing.

SEER shared both its product idea and the current mission, "Standardized Products, Customized Applications", which could be understood from the following three points.

"Upward integration and downward opening"

When manufacturing robots, it is inevitable that all kinds of accessories will be involved. Taking laser, servo, and sensor as an example, the brand range involved is very large. In addition, some customers may need secondary development, so how to choose AGV and whether the products meet their own development requirements are both difficult problems.

SEER's flagship product, AMR safety controller, SRC core controller, SRC-3000FS, can solve such problems through the product idea of "integrating upwards and opening downwards". Upward, this product can integrate most brands of lasers, servos, and sensors on the market, making it easy for customers to make their own choices. It can even support 4 drives and motors of a robot to choose different brands, which only needs to be done with one button in the configuration software. Downward, SEER has opened up software and hardware interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, CAN, RS485, ModBus/TCP, API, etc., to facilitate the secondary development of various needs for customers.

SEER can also be adapted to many brands, and the following are the adapted brands.

"Scenario issues are all product issues"

As mentioned earlier, most manufacturers only consider the common divisor of the product, so products produced based on various needs from customers cannot achieve certain functions, which leads to the "customized" problem. And this problem often needs to be solved by the client.

But for SEER, scenario issues are all included in the product. When the client uses our product, he only needs to use the scheduling tool for function schedules, which means to transfer the scene problem into a product problem.

And this is not empty talk. The SEER R&D team has a system for collecting problems in different scenarios. Up to now, more than 4500 application problems have been optimized, and the number will continue to grow in the future because we will summarize all application scenarios into the product.

"Human-oriented software and hardware tools"

SEER uses the software and hardware of the product to achieve the greatest needs of clients. In other words, we will try our best to cooperate with customers to do what he wants to do and meet his needs. It is a human-oriented software and hardware tool product, and there will be an auxiliary tool.

So what are auxiliary tools?

The biggest feature of the auxiliary tool is that it can make the customer's operation the most concise, effective, and useful, that is, through the process of design--verification--simulation--optimization--deployment--management, all products are realized as human-oriented software and hardware tools.

It is precisely because the product idea of "Standardized Products, Customized Applications" is a "thread" through all SEER products, from SRC Series Core Controllers to Seer Enterprise Enhanced Digitalization SEED and algorithm visualizer RoboView, it only takes a few days for the project implementers to solve the problems of a whole month.

"No service is the best service". That's not just inaugural hot air. In order to achieve that, SEER has been constantly seeking breakthroughs in customers' needs and its own multi-level needs. All scenarios that maybe used are listed as standard, thereby shortening the project cycle and making the product easier to use.
