SEER Helps the Integrator in the Electrical Manufacturing Industry to Serve the State Grid in Intelligent Logistics Construction

Recently, SEER has officially reached a partnership with an integrator in Hubei. The SEER product portfolio has successfully helped the integrator to implement the latent AMR carrying project in the Material Center of the State Grid. Latent AMRs improve material transport efficiency and security and bring about the automatic and intelligent operation, thus facilitating the Material Center in increasing efficiency while reducing cost.

The integrator mainly serves customers in the fields of machinery, electrical equipment, hydraulic equipment, machine tool control, material control of the Testing Center of the State Grid, etc. Employing a large number of senior electromechanical engineers and senior technicians engaged in the development, design, modification, installation, and debugging of ordinary machine tools and CNC machine tools, it provides customers with one-stop professional high-quality services and products.

Thanks to the systematic training and teaching provided by SEER for partners and the rich on-site debugging experience of senior engineers from the integrator, the overall process is efficient and fast when the AMR carrying project in the Material Center of the State Grid is implemented.

SEER offers the integrator a standard product (AMR SJV-W1000) developed based on the SRC series core controller and the unified resource dispatch system (RDS). With SEER's software and hardware product portfolio, the barriers in the whole plant caused by AMRs of various categories and from different manufacturers are solved. AMRs handle articles independently to reduce staff movement. In this way, the labor intensity of employees is greatly decreased while the accuracy of article transportation is significantly improved.

According to the actual situation and needs of the Material Center of the State Grid, the integrator has defined three key points for project implementation: First, AMRs can carry heavy loads. Second, AMRs should be rapidly deployed without changing the existing environment of the Material Center. Third, it should be ensured that AMRs of various categories and manufacturers can coordinate. SEER easily helps the integrator realize the above points through the combination of standard products.

I. SJV-W1000 and SJV-W3000: Superb Load Capacity and Long Battery Life

In terms of super-heavy load handling, due to the lack of appropriate robots with a 3T load capacity, the integrator chose independent manufacturing and has successfully produced the jack-up handling robot with a 3T load capacity (SJV-W3000) by making use of SEER's SRC controllers.

In addition, the laser SLAM standard jack-up handling robot SJV-W1000, a standard product of SEER, has been adopted to cater to the needs of 1T load transportation.

SJV-W1000 and SJV-W3000 can easily identify various goods racks in the Material Center and accurately handle articles. With built-in large-capacity batteries, they are able to provide up to 8-hour uninterrupted service, thus meeting the requirement of continuous carrying in the workshop.

II. Laser SLAM Navigation: Efficient, Accurate, and Highly Adaptable

Taking advantage of SEER's proprietary laser SLAM navigation technology, SJV-W1000 and SJV-W3000 are capable of quickly mapping with the laser. Robots can independently move through the process section under detection for rapid and accurate handling of pallets, without manual output and site modification.

Even if the on-site production environment changes in the future, the robots can flexibly and quickly adjust the map by laser scanning and mapping. After that, the new deployment can be completed. This truly implements efficient, flexible, and trackless autonomous navigation to meet business upgrade needs.

Laser SLAM navigation not only saves the trouble of modifying the on-site environment but also shortens the delivery cycle. Moreover, it outperforms other navigation methods with a higher navigation accuracy. Through algorithm optimization, SEER can enable AMRs to achieve a repeat positioning accuracy of ±5 mm and interfacing accuracy of ±2 mm.

III. RDS: Collaborative Planning and Intelligent Dispatching

At the deployment site, integrators usually employ AMRs and AGVs from multiple manufacturers. How to ensure the coordination among AMRs/AGVs of various categories and from different manufacturers has become an important topic.

As a result, SEER's RDS has become the core of dispatching in the whole plant. The RDS collects information during the whole process by connecting with the on-site ERP system and flexibly assigns all AMRs in the plant for carrying through algorithm analysis, so as to avoid the waste of robot resources, ensure human-machine safety, and realize intelligent and lean production.

In the future, SEER will continue to support integrators in expanding their business in more machinery manufacturing industries. Through the combined application of SEER's standard products, integrators can help end customers implement intelligent goods positioning and movement and promote the flexible and efficient upgrading of intelligent logistics in the plant, which will reduce costs while increasing efficiency.
